Ann Wehman studies how lipid asymmetry influences membrane dynamics and trafficking in cells. Her research combines developmental genetics and in vivo imaging to investigate processes such as membrane remodeling and extracellular vesicle formation.

Katrin Philippar studies membrane transport proteins in plant cells, with a particular focus on chloroplasts. Her research explores how fatty acids, lipids and iron are transported across chloroplast membranes and how these processes contribute to plant metabolism and development.

Todd Graham studies how membrane lipids and proteins are organized and transported within cells. His research focuses particularly on P4-ATPase lipid flippases and how they establish membrane asymmetry and contribute to the formation of transport vesicles.

Joseph Lyons studies how proteins control lipid transport and maintain lipid balance in biological membranes. His group combines biochemistry, biophysics and structural biology, including cryo-electron microscopy, to uncover the molecular mechanisms linking disrupted lipid homeostasis to diseases such as neurodegeneration, diabetes and cancer.

Kristina Ganzinger develops advanced microscopy methods to study cell membranes at single-molecule resolution. Her research focuses on how molecular interactions at cell membranes regulate immune-cell signalling and cellular communication.

Milka Doktorova studies the biophysics of cell membranes, with a focus on how lipid organization and dynamics influence membrane structure and function. Her group combines molecular simulations, theory and experiments to understand how lipid membranes regulate cellular processes.

Anant Menon studies how lipids are made, transported and redistributed within biological membranes. His research focuses particularly on lipid flip-flop across membranes and the molecular mechanisms that maintain membrane organization and function

Guillaume Lenoir studies how membrane proteins transport lipids across biological membranes and how lipids regulate membrane-protein function. His research combines biochemical, structural and computational approaches, with a particular focus on lipid flippases and membrane organization
